Millions of Android devices based on Qualcomm chipsets may be vulnerable, due to flaws in Qualcomm chips' firmware. According to security firm Checkpoint, the four major security holes, called "Quadrooter", could allow potential attackers to gain complete control of devices and unrestricted access to sensitive personal and enterprise data on them. Google's Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, and Nexus 6P, HTC's One M9 and HTC 10, and Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are among the vulnerable devices. Qualcomm has already fixed three of the four vulnerabilities, but it's up to the handset manufacturers to apply the patches. Google's Nexus devices have already been patched. Currently, there is no evidence of the vulnerabilities being used in attacks by hackers. Read more -here-
