Linksys announced at CES 2014 its latest WRT1900AC Dual Band Wi-Fi Router, which resembles the good old Linksys WRT54G that came out more than a decade ago. The new router shares the same blue-and-black stackable design as the WRT54G, but it's larger and comes with much more powerful hardware including a dual-core 1.2GHz ARM processor, 128MB of flash memory, and 256MB of DDR3 RAM. WRT1900AC features 802.11ac, 5GHz band speeds up to 1.3Gbps, and 2.4 GHz speeds up to 600Mbps. Wired connections are handled by four gigabit ports. External drives can be attached to the router via a USB 3.0 port or an eSATA/USB 2.0 port. The router also has four removable antennas.
The WRT1900AC will be available this spring for $300. Read more -here-
