The simple plug and play unit amplifies the current signal emitting from your router making Internet access in your basement, garage, yard, throughout an office and conference rooms, in warehouses, and other "hard to reach" areas possible. Whether it is concrete, cinder block walls or simply sheer distance preventing your Internet signal from reaching where you need it, the REC10 packs enough power into a small package to overcome these obstacles. Traditional routers have an output power of a mere 50 milliwatts (mW). The REC10 has twelve times the power output – 600mW – making it powerful enough to provide up to 6,500 square feet of Wi-Fi coverage.
