The co-founder of popular torrent tracker Pirate Bay, Gottfrid Svartholm is still in jail in Sweden for suspicion of being involved in the hacking of Logica, a Swedish IT company that works with local tax authorities. He was arrested for not appearing for his jail sentence, and was then deported to Sweden from Cambodia. It is supposed that Svartholm could only be held in jail for a few days because he hasn't yet been charged officially in the Logica case. In related news, the Pirate Bay website seems to be down since Monday. It is not clear yet what the reason for the outage is, although news has been surfacing about supposed PDU (power distribution unit) technical failure. But the raid and the outage are unlikely to be related, according to PRQ's owner. The police raided the hosting service because they want to seize four servers that are linked to three or four sites. However, there could have been other reasons for the raid, as PRQ is known to host controversial websites. In the past it has hosted The Pirate Bay, and is still involved with Wikileaks, said Viborg.
